Tugu Lobby
As you may know, I regard Bali as my second home. I would like to let you know about two new Bali locations.
In January, I stayed at the beautiful Tugu Bali Hotel situated in Canggu, about a 15 min drive to Seminyak and the same to TanahLot.
It's about an hour of leisurely walking (along the beach) to the best shopping and restaurants in the world, yes, the world.
The Breeze
I ate at the Breeze, right on the waterfront and adjacent to LaLuciola. The most amazing dining experience.
Swim in their pool, lounge around in the garden area, and then a little stroll to KuDeTa for a cocktail and sunset — a beautiful afternoon.
I was also put onto the Arthouse in Ubud. Set in four acres of garden including a good-sized pool.
Both the Tugu and Arthouse are a mixture of luxury and traditional Bali. Both venues are for the art lover, laid back and "put your feet up kind of person".
The Tugu was an experience I just had to tell you about. In a few words –
Tugu Restaurant
In the 20s and 30s it was a retreat for some of Europe's most innovative Artists and Poets of the time. Some of the villas are still to this day as they were then. Just simply gets your soul.
If you can't get to one of these fabulous locations right now you can experience some part of the atmosphere at least which I have recreated in my Salon amid the bustle of South Yarra and Prahran. My motto is to give my clientele everything I expect to get myself — Have a beautiful day and I am looking forward to seeing you soon at Elliot Beautiful Hair.

A longtime friend David Mathethson along with his wife Eszter Maroszeky, have produced and post produced their first collaboration.
David and Eszter ,who live in San Francisco, have photographed the world famous San Francisco Ballet Company to create a series of the most beautiful images shot over three days in their studio, exhibited there in October 2010.
They are bringing their exhibition to our gallery in June and will be here to sign limited edition prints over a two day period. Exact dates will be announced during April.

Following the success of the first exhibition arranged jointly with the Victorian Association of Sculpture, we want to firstly thank you all for your support to date. The sculptures in this exhibition will be replaced early in May when our Second Exhibition is scheduled to start.
The pieces to be included in the new exhibition are being selected now. More details will be posted here as they become available.
